I opened up the picture I took at Grace Church in Rutland. I opened up the picture I have in my file of the star by clicking on NEW in the file area on the toolbar which far left. Then I used the scissors tool in GIMP and I pointed out the outline of the star. You then copy then paste you find this command in the edit area on the tool bar. Then I moved the stars to where I wanted each one.I clicked on the anchor and this locked the star in place.
To get the sparkle affects, I used the different brush strokes and picked the color I wanted....white.. I attempted to make the stars look ethereal (hovering). I might do this on again.... I see where I could have added a little more glimmer.
The use of the individual brushes is really key. The more you use Photoshop the more those brushes can me used for so many purposes. You can individualize your brushes and also download original brush palettes from sites such as deviantart.com. Very helpful in so many ways. I'm glad you experimented with those, though! You made a very beautiful picture.
I am a person that enjoys intelligent conversations with men and women. Looking for a man, especially, that is intelligent and kind to others. I love God,my family and dogs, cats and horses...
Please elaborate on how you got this effect? I am having a hard time with sections and layers.
ReplyDeleteLove it! Great stairway by the way.

What a great job. You really did well with this assignment, and then included a mini tutorial, very cool.
